ACS confirms “significant” dividend increase: 37% over 2018

ACS OK

Bankinter | The company has announced that it will share 1.44 euros gross per share as a complementary dividend. This means that the total dividend for the year will be 1.89 euros/share (+37% over the previous year).

Thus dividend means a yield of 4.9% and according to the company represents a “significant increase” in accordance with the 2018 results and the “good perspectives for 2019” from the evolution of its business and the contribution of Abertis.

ACS had already announced after the presentation of results at the end of the year that it was going to propose a significant increase in the dividend for this year and therefore the positive news was relatively discounted by the market. We recall that a few weeks ago Abertis announced the payment of an extraordinary dividend of approximately 10 billion euros, of which ECS received approximately 4 billion euros.
