Spain Approves Its First Climate Change Law: At Least 74% Renewable Electricity Production By 2030

On 8 April, the Parliament approved the first Climate Change Law in Spain, which aims to comply with the goals set out in the Paris Agreement. After the Climate Change and Energy Transition Bill has been approved in the Parliament it will pass to the Senate where it will be reviewed and processed to be definitively approved, unless an unexpected setback arises.
