Link Securities | FCC enviro, a subsidiary of FCC (FCC), has agreed to acquire the Cumbria Waste Group business from Waterland Private Equity in the United Kingdom. The company expects the transaction to be completed in Q4 2025, subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions customary in this type of transaction.
FCC enviro has been present in the British market since 1989 through its subsidiary FCC Environment UK and is one of the leading local waste management operators.
The acquisition of the Cumbria Waste Group business will enable it to expand its geographical reach and continue to expand its product and service offering to enhance the value proposition for its customers.
Based in the north of England, Cumbria Waste Group provides comprehensive waste management solutions to municipal and commercial customers through the management of material recovery facilities, composting, hazardous and liquid waste treatment and recycling centres, as well as waste collection, recycling and organic waste services.
