Link Securities | At Friday’s Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting, Indra (IDR) shareholders approved the acquisition of 89.68% of Hispasat for €725 million from Redeia (RED) (and the rest of the items on the agenda), which, for its part, purchased that percentage of Hispasat in 2019 for €933 million, valuing 100% of the company at that time at more than €1 billion, according to Expansión newspaper.

The transaction, which was announced in February, represents a decisive step by the Spanish company in its intention to grow in the promising space sector, where billions will be mobilised in the coming years.
