Telefónica: application period for voluntary redundancy under Movistar+ redundancy plan begins today and runs until 6 February

Link Securities | The telecommunications company has opened the application period for voluntary redundancy under the redundancy plan (ERE) it has launched at Movistar+, which affects 175 employees, from today, Wednesday, until 6 February, in accordance with the schedule agreed with the trade unions.

The figure is significantly lower than the 279 redundancies initially proposed by Telefónica, which represented around 32% of the workforce, comprising some 860 employees.
