Link Securities | BBVA (BBVA) announced on Monday that it has created a new unit to boost its expertise in data-driven services. Through the new Analytics Transformation Unit, BBVA is uniting its international team of more than 2,500 data scientists and specialists and will boost the development of its data-driven services with the latest advances in artificial intelligence.

In this regard, BBVA points out that advanced data analysis is essential to offer customers increasingly personalised services and products, and to make internal processes more globalised and agile. This is why the bank has created the Analytics Transformation Unit to boost the development of these analytical solutions by combining generative AI with predictive AI (that which uses historical data to make future predictions), which will enable it to generate greater added value for the business and for its customers.
