Iberdrola seeks partner for offshore wind in the North Sea

IBERDROLA (IBE) plans to launch, in the coming weeks, the process of finding a partner to take a 49% stake in East Anglia Two, one of its major offshore wind projects in British waters of the North Sea. East Anglia Two is one of the largest transactions slated to hit the renewable energy sector in the second half of the year and is valued at around EUR 5,000 million. IBE is working with Bank of America and BBVA as financial advisors for the transaction, according to newspaper Expansión.
