BANKIA maintains possitive prospect for Día as the firm is considering may options to sale its business in France (due to the low benefits) assisted by BNP. The withdrawal leaves 1.5 % of market share for competitors. Leader Price could be one of the main applicants. The group could get 200-400M.

ACF. Spain’s retail sales dropped again in February by +0.5 %. Analysts expected an advance due to improvement in the automobile sector and the recovery of customer confidence. Domestic demand has been boosted in the last month but figures like this remind us how it is still fragile. The only item that went better was clothing (+1.7 %), all the others got worse. Small chains had the best performance whereas little one-establishment business lost -0.9 % of sales.

LINK. ECB is not really injecting in the Eurozone as show February money supply figures (it hardly grew by 1.3 %). Likelihood of new stimulation from the central bank is encouraging investors.

BANKINTER. Yesterday was an excellent day for national bonds trade. Today’s stock markets ryhthm will depend on upcoming University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index and European Confidence Indexs. Markets fell the lack of powerful stimulation.
