Eurozone confidence hits eight year high

The Sentix index of investor confidence rose in March, to a seasonally adjusted reading of 20.0, from 18.6 in February, according to data released on Tuesday. The figures showing that investors continue to believe in the ECB’s plan of pumping €60bn a month into markets as a means of avoiding a prolonged period of deflation.

Analysts had expected Sentix Euro Zone Investor Confidence to rise 20.0 last month.
