Car manufacturing

According to the Spanish car manufacturers’ association (Anfac), vehicle manufacturing went up by 4.22% in April compared to a year earlier.

Adopting new models as well as the Easter holidays had an impact on April manufacturing volumes. Anfac highlighted that the Spanish government’s buying incentives, new investments in plants and an increase in exports are all helping to boost volumes.

Car exports totalled €8,476 billion in the first quarter of 2015, up  17.3% year-on-year.
