Spanish households’ savings rate continue to fall

The income of Spanish households increased slightly (0.7%), according to official data, while the consumption grew by 2.6%. This indicates that either Spaniards have decided to spend more given the better economic expectations or because they had no other choice but to open their piggy banks.
