Fitch upgrades Enagás because of its solid financial structure

The ratings agency Fitch Ratings has upgraded its short term rating for Enagás  (ENG) and Enagás Financiaciones S.A.U from “F2” to “F1”’, applying its new short methodology for short term ratings.

Fitch has decided to assign the best short term rating to Enagás, based on its analysis of its elevated financial flexibility, its solid financial structure and the adequate environment in which the group operates. Enagás maintains a long term rating of “A-“ with a short term rating of “F1” with a stable outlook.
