Link Securities | The Spanish consumer confidence index, the ICC, compiled by the CIS, rose to 80.5 points in January from 75.8 points in December. This increase in the index is due to the positive performance of its two components: on the one hand, the assessment of the current situation rose by 3.3 points and, on the other, the assessment of future expectations was 6 points higher than in December. However, compared to January 2025, the ICC fell by 4.4 points. This decline is due to a 3.6-point drop in the assessment of the current situation over the last year and a 5.2-point drop in expectations for the future compared to January 2025.
