Alphavalue/ Divacons | The Spanish telecoms firm has launched a commercial service aimed at businesses and public authorities from its new T_Space facility, staffed by specialists in remote drone piloting. With this initiative, Telefónica is introducing a solution that transforms the traditional model of drone operation—which until now required pilots to travel physically to each mission, apply for specific permits and carry out preliminary assessments of the environment, all of which delayed the start of operations—to offer a pioneering end-to-end service in Spain. This will be supported by the company’s technological and operational capabilities as a telecommunications operator.
