Banc Sabadell | Airbus (AIR) reported that it delivered 60 aircraft during March (compared to 35 in February 2026 and 71 in March 2025), bringing the total deliveries for 2026 to 114 (compared to 136 in 2025, down 16%).
Furthermore, a total of 331 new orders and 10 cancellations were recorded during the month. Consequently, net orders in 2026 stand at 398 aircraft (against 204 in 2025; up 95%).
Assessment: Although March deliveries represent a clear sequential improvement, the March figures still indicate that Pratt & Whitney’s engine supply issues continue to weigh on the production rate, something the company had already warned about. On a more positive note, the strong order intake demonstrates that demand remains robust, despite the uncertainty generated by the geopolitical situation in the Middle East. All in all, we do not expect this release to have a significant impact on the market.
