Caixabank chairman notes certain slowdown in loan applications owing to war

Link Securities | The chairman of Caixabank (CABK), Tomás Muniesa, noted on Wednesday that the uncertainty caused by the war in Iran is slowing down customers’ decisions when it comes to applying for loans, according to a report in the newspaper Expansión on Wednesday. In recent weeks, a decline in demand for corporate credit has begun to be felt. It is slight, but it is starting to be noticed, the banker noted at a breakfast organised by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce Club.
